Tell us about your background.  The thing I am most proud of is being a dad to three amazing kids, who are not kids anymore. I am a second-generation Union member of the Painters and Allied Trades IUPAT.

Share about the work of the Saint Paul Building Trades Council.  There are many aspects to the Saint Paul Building Trades Council. The one I am most proud of is building communities with housing and meeting the workforce needs.

What are some of the challenges of attracting more people to the skilled trades in Ramsey County?  For many people in our community, childcare, drivers’ licenses, and reliable transportation are a challenge.

Where do you see the most opportunities for individuals looking to start a career in the trades?  All the crafts have great opportunity! It’s a great time to get into construction and start to build a career and shape a community.
